Service Users

Due to the nature of work carried out at WMRSASC, we may need to collect sensitive information from service users, however we will only do so with the client’s consent and clear notices will be provided on relevant forms and communications so it is clear what information may be collected and why. All sensitive information collected by WMRSASC is stored securely and anonymously under a unique client identifier number.

We may use the data we collect:

Any data collected for these purposes is used in such a way that individuals cannot be identified from them.

Fundraisers and supporters

We do not collect sensitive personal information about our fundraisers and supporters unless there is a clear reason for doing so, for example, relating to your health, and only where appropriate – such as participation in a marathon or similar fundraising event, or where we need to ensure that we provide appropriate support to enable you to participate in an event or support us in some other way.

We will only collect sensitive personal data with the fundraiser / supporter’s consent, and clear notices will be provided on applications for events and other relevant forms and communications, so you know what information we need and why we need it.
